An Observant Life: Nick Ohly
In the restaurant at the New Haven Lawn Club, 193 Whitney Ave.
On Wednesday the 16th, Sara Ohly (Downtown) will discuss the landscape paintings and drawings made by her late husband. Nick’s landscapes are of places he traveled and lived – CT, VT, and the Netherlands.
You are welcome to view the exhibit on your own between 9-5, except of Mondays - they are closed. Skip the lunch hours of 12-2:30/3 as the diners will block the art work. The show runs until November 21.
Many pieces are for sale, with 90% of the proceeds supporting Wooster Square’s Sunrise Café and 10% will go to support the Lawn Club. The Sunrise Café serves free and healthy breakfasts for people experiencing homelessness or food insecurity. https://sunrisecafenewhaven.org/
